Business – Big Load

So I couldn’t decide on whether things should be an idea or a business, but I figure if I actually followed through and did it like a business, it was more then an idea. Big Load was a fanzine that was all advertisements. I am not even sure how many issues I did, because I can’t find anymore then this one. I figured since Maximum Rock and Roll had so many ads and there were always so many of those local mailing things with all ads. I could do a punk rock ad zine. It was distributed to a bunch of record and book stores all over the United States. It was a pain, I lost money, but it was sort of cool.

Business – Angry Seed Records

So one of the first business’s I started, was a record label called Angry Seed Records. Originally it was set up to put out the first Marcus Noise record which was my own band. I also did a couple compilation CDs to start it out. The first album released Marcus Noise “From Blood To Bubblegum” you can download right here – http://marcusnoise.bandcamp.com/

I stopped doing the label for awhile but resurrected it while doing another business (Millwind) which I will discuss later. It was after hearing a band called The Dames, who I fell in love with.

Then I went on to release a few other artists after that. I am going to be setting up an Angry Seed Records website soon, so I can plug my new band and also have more of a history of the label plus make most of the music available for everyone.
